The IRS did vacate the lien. The words "lien released" are on the credit file. That happened after I explained that everything was taken care of under the Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

However, my problem is with TransUnion. They refuse to take it off the credit report, even though I clearly explained to them that the bankruptcy was already well under way by the time the lien was "released." Experian and Equifax took it off, so TransUnion should as well.

I have a letter prepared that explains things to them in better detail. Hopefully, they'll comply. But if they don't, then what?
