It all depends on your state. Each state has widely different exemptions and dollar amounts. Non-exempt is usually stuff like pricey coin collections, recreational vehicles, antique 'collector' vehicles, property OTHER than your home (homestead exemption). In some states, they can take your PETS !!! Nasty but true, they'll come after your DOG and since most of us are attached to our pets, they use that as leverage to make you cough up $$$$. The site I use to look up exemptions is below. Anything NOT on that list or of a value above the exemption limit is vulnerable to seizure.
