WhyChat and LadyNRed - SOL plus Charge-off?

I got hit with a lawsuit. My defense was, SOL, because my last payment to this credit card company was over the statute for about 75 days before they issued this lawsuit. Now they are saying that, and I quote, "suit was filed against you within six years of the charge-off date"
Can they do this, add the 180 days after the SOL runs?
