go to www.fordcredit.com and try to get a loan through them. i have horrible credit and they were the only ones whom would extend me credit for a vehicle. it took only an hour and i had an approval number on paper that i printed and took it to the dealer and bought a NEW 2003 ford escape 4 months ago. i just went with wife and helped her purchase a used 2001 ford explorer sport through ford motor credit also. THEY do not ask for any verification of employment OR salary .... JUST FILL IN THE BLANKS on application.... i hope it helps... with bad credit and being self employed THEY were the only ones i could get a loan with... cjpilot
