Alliance One Phone Number Removal

Apparently my phone number attracts people who are deficient in their payments. Or frauds. Either way I'm getting a lot of calls from debt collectors who are looking for someone not at the number.

Here's the catch. I want to order them to desist, but when I indicate I'm not the individual they refuse to identify themselves or give me their address. Yet they continue to call despite requests to stop. After pursuing it and giving several collectors a very bad day with a persistent obsessive guy on the line I can get action, but they defend their action stating they can't identify themselves as debt collectors if I'm not the individual owing money.

Fine, but what exactly are my rights to get them to desist? It seems to me that under FDCPA I should be entitled to removal from contact just as an actual debtor is. I can't do that without an address and company name. Any thoughts?

As a side note, I have suspicion that companies are passing around the debts of the two people who have used my number. So I do get one to desist, but then another starts. Is there anyway to blacklist the number? Being from Missouri I don't get telemarketing calls, but these calls are outrageous and often quite obnoxious.
