They can NOT just 'get a judgment', they MUST follow legal process. With W&A, firs they will try to force you into Arbitration. If that goes thru and they win (and they usually do), THEN they take the arbitration award to your local courthouse and get it converted into a judgment.

If arbitration does NOT go thru, then they have to SUE you FIRST, you get your day in court, and if they win the lawsuit, they get a judgment. Then and ONLY then can the get a writ of garnishment (if allowed in your state) to try to get at your wages.

The W&A witch committed a violation by threatening legal action, and by violating the C&D they have also wracked up a violation. However, if the account is within your state's SOL, a total C&D is just begging them to sue you .. or drag you into arbitration.
