Interested in finding out more about telecheck. When you open an account with a new bank and they use telecheck, what all info do they get? Is it only regarding bad checks, or does it give them info about judgments, tax liens, bk's, etc? Also, do they get information about current or previous accounts with other banks? Is there any oversight of telecheck, such as being covered by FCRA? Do Permissible Purpose rules apply to them? Is there any oversight, such as being required to abide by FCRA? Appreciate any answers if anyone KNOWS for a fact.
