You are mistaken, the statute CLEARLY defines a credit card as having a 4 year SOL,it does NOT have to say it is an "open-ended" account, as in Fl. OTHER credit agreements besides open-ended accounts are covered under the 4 year SOL. It is NOT a "contract in writing" as defined in the statute definitions listed on the Florida page, it is NOT an installment sales contract,therefore it is covered by the 4 year SOL.

You cannot expect State statutes to be specific and name every single type of account or agreement or contract that is covered in it's SOL statutes.
