I am simply amazed.Whitewing has called again,this time with a woman reading me my credit file after my cease-comm letter.The debt is 14 yrs. old.Trans-union says that debt collection is a valid permissable purpose for placing a hard inquiry,even if the debt is SOL.They(Whitewing)were informed of the SOL statute of the debt.I know there are supposed to be laws to protect the consumer from this but I am wondering where they are and if they are little more than wasted paper.
