Considering BK in California - Ladyinred or whycaht

In a nut shell used Briggs & Baker got behind on MBNA now being bothered by W&A and Cavlry Investments, Making payments on 2002 taxes and must pay 2003 taxes (might not be able to) owe over $20K in credit cards business and personal, from B&B over &25K trying to be collected and finding my %rates on my cards go up late fees are adding up I seem to be 1 day late alot lately? I'm considering filing BK even though I know it's not good at all. I feel like I'm unable to get ahead and the CC companies will not lower my% rates when I ask them about it. What can I expect if I do this and How long after this could I get my life back in order?
