yes the nc mortgage broker said the judgement needs to be paid before she can obtain the loan. I am trying to settle the 4,500 judgement for 1,200 to credigy. but they refused, it doesnt matter at this point if it is on her credit report only that she has confirmation of credigy accepting a settlement so she can close.

now that i know they credigy cannot enforce the judgement i have a better chance at negotiating a low amount, since the judgement is 3 yrs old and credigy purchased the debt.
