Well.....I sure would loke to know if a business can charge a transaction fee if I use my debit card that has a Visa logo on it. There is a Subway shop near me and they charge a 99 cent transaction fee. I told them to use my card as a credit card and they say they do not take credit cards....only debit cards. Is this a loophole in the law.....only take debit and not credit cards to get the transaction fee ?.
