OK-- I think I can figure this out, if you did not get a 1099c from any of the "settled" creditors,they sold the unpaid balance to a collection agency.

If you last paid them directly 6 months prior to 2/01 that would be 8/00- If I am correct, then on your Experian report on the Wachovia and MBNA entries, the "removal date" should be 9/07.

If that is what is showing, then you are beyond the legal SOL for being sued, and in Ca. beyond the legal allowable collection activity time.

If so, you can send the collection agencies the SOL letter from my website.
