I applied for a credit card when I was 17 years old. I was not aware of that you had to be 18 to apply for a credit card. When I did apply for the credit card I put down that I was 17 years old and a couple of weeks later I received the card. Unfortunately I got into some financial problems over the years and I ended up getting a charge off on my credit report on this card. I just finished paying it off this past January, 2003. Since I was 18 when I applied for the credit card can anything be done to take this charge off of my credit report? Is there anything, and I mean anything that I can do??? I appreciate your help.
