Well their BBB report is being updated which generally means they suck. First thing first- you need a papertrail. File a complaint with the BBB, the texas attorney general where they are located, and the NC attorney general. The next thing you do is fire off a letter to them both certified and faxed if you have the fax number stating how they broke the law by illegally reaging the account and placing it on your credit report and how you will sue them if it is not removed ASAP. Since they are in texas if you can handle yourself I would personally call them and tape the phone conversation. NExt you need to call an attorney. The closest one I know lives in WV but I think he takes your state. If not he will probably know an attorney who would. Keep in mind he can be slow to respond sometimes so you have to keep on the ball.
