need answer - VA

Discover/greenwood trust-last pay 5/2000. VA sol - 3 yrs. CA's (1) Gulf State (2) OSI (3) Select and now #(5) Sherman ACQ. (saying they purchased from OSI/Gulf- Original Creditor. Owed 6000 to Discover 5/2000 and paid Select 1900, now Sherman lists 5900 and does not even mention Select. Should I send Validation, C&D or sol? Other advice?
