20 days is 20 days from the date you received the summons. Look on the summons for a date: start counting the next day, including weekends. If day 20 is Sat/Sun then it is the next day. You need to respond to each statement in the complaint- see WhyChats website for how to respond to a lawsuit. It is never to late to work it out, but you might do better in court with the judge (NOT the mediator- they are court paid stooges for the other side). Is this lawsuit within the sol ? When did you make the last payment?
