They are under NO obligation to mark the judgment as paid.

You will be throwing your $$ down a rathole.

You do not even know if whomever you called is the one who filed the judgment, (if a collection agency filed FOR a citibank debt,paying citibank will do NOTHING, and the reverse is also true)

Your judgment may have expired already,what State was it entered in ?, and even if it has not expired, if it was a default judgment it may be completely unenforceable against you in your present State.
