I'm new to the whole credit repair thing, I live in Minnesota, used to live in Wisconsin, have debts from both states, currently everything on my credit report is either charge offs, collections for NSF's, or medical bills. I have 2 accounts in good standing, a new car loan (to help rebuild credit) and a student loan.
What I've done so far is sent dispute letters to the bureaus, but not the collectors directly, I have yet to recieve any responce from Experian, all I got from Trans union was a list of creditor addresses and Equifax hasn't even sent my report yet (It's been 3 weeks)
What optioons do I have or where do I go from here? It looks like I need to write the creditors directly?? And why do my credit reports show an account being with 2 different collectors?
