They are the ones who going to federal court if they keep up this tactic, not you. Collection legal action is in the court system of the state in which you reside. They called your parents, did they? They make my point - this violates the FDCPA. Call the Federal Trade Commission and report this now. Right now. Report all their actions and statements. This will add more paper to the pile of complaints already filed on these scumbag crooks. Victory is at hand. Another roach pair about to enjoy the fruits of their labors. Hope they enjoy 'singing in the shower'. Even if they don't they'll have plenty of opportunity to do so considering where their sleazy transgressive conduct is taking them.
