In 1995 someone used my husbands ss # to open an account at BofA, even though we already had an account there. They didn't cross reference the SS#'s. Anyway, that person committed ATM fraud and BofA reported it to chexsystems and now Wamu won't open the account for my husband. BofA Reps say they won't remove the report because the person may do it again, and Wamu says there's no way for them to over-ride and give him the account. $$$ has nothing to do with it, because we were trying to open a checking account and move several thousand $$$ into CD's through them and they STILL refused. This was at in Alta Loma, CA.
