NCO will take your $, sell the balance to another CA who will add fees and fake charges,re-age the account on your reports and start dunning you for more $$. Close your account NOW, open one at another bank. Paper checks are just as bad as on line ones, if you are going to settle, get it in WRITING FIRST,then send a money order or bank check. Opt out on your reports. EXACTLY when did you make your last ON TIME payment to MBNA, and what State are you in.?
