Thanks Why Chat, that's a BIG relief since it isn't my husbands fault. About settling though, if the take me to court and win a judgement does that nullify this whole SOL thing? Or does the original time period still apply? You asked me to save their message and see if they sent a letter saying that I have a right to validate the debt....which I got within two days......do you think it's a good idea to make them prove the debt..in order to buy time....or should I just do nothing because a judgement might be inevitable anyway? What should I expect next from Eskanos & Adler?....(in your experience & expertise...)Thanks!!!
