No affidavits. They have copies of the actual statements. There is no way to deny this. What I need to know right now is how to answer the complaint. I don't know how to word it or anything as there is no form to fill out our any instructions on how to do it. I'm willing to settle this for the full amount out of court if I can just get them to respond and agree to it.

Their attorney is about 4-5 hours away from the courthouse, which is one of the reasons I thought they'd settle, not to mention not having to go through getting a judgement and then trying to collect on it.
