When you obtained your judgment,your lawyer should have informed you of the time limits.

In most States, the period of time a judgment can remain enforceable is subject to renewal, usually within 6 months of the first term,(which varies from 3 to 7 years)

This is why I frequently tell people who have discovered a default judgment that it MAY be better to leave it alone, instead of trying to have it vacated, as it MAY be within the renewal period.
