They are counting on you not showing up or answering,that way they get a default judgment with all the added lega expenses and interest charges. If you answer, (how to link below) with a general denial of their claim based on the charges they have added etc etc. and show up for the hearing, they will be MUCH more agreeable to a settlement, as they will be FORCED to appear.(if they don't show up, you can ask for a dismissal) Why are you SO sure you are not beyond SOL? When was your last ON TIME payment to the OC??And what State are you in?
