I'm in Ohio and the last payment to the OC was made less than 4 years before the CA's attorney filed the lawsuit. I can't deny the amount either because they have not added one cent the balance that is shown on the final billing statement from the OC.

Is there any way to answer this as agreeing to their statments, but stating that I'm willing to pay the amount in full if they drop the lawsuit or that I'm willing to try for a mediated settlement? I'm trying to avoid extra costs with this.

The link for how to answer also says that answering could increase the court costs and lawyers fees as well if I lose, which I don't see any way I can win, which is why I just want to pay it and be done with it.
