Hello, can someone give me some advice on this...I live in PA. I filed for banruptcy back in dec of 1997 It was discharged in 1 1998 In which all of my debts were included. There is this one account with a bank which was a signature loan this was included in the bankruptcy The last payment on the loan was in sept. of 1997
This bank is now contacting me for collection. No calls yet just a debt collection letter. They are collecting it themselves. They have informed me that the account has been reported to the credit bureau. And that if this matter isn't taken care of it will be undertaken by a collection agency or a collection attorney.
What are my options here? What steps should I take to do them?
Thank You
