Your account was sold off before the OC charged it off. The Date of Last Activity is the date of last activity where the account was paid. It does not matter when the account was charged off. By law the creditor was supposed to charge off the account. If they bought the account before it was charged off, I would imagine that the most time they would have would be six months from their purchase date before they too were required to charge it off.

SOL is date of last activity. They will try and claim anything. Have your ducks in order, your paperwork showing when the last date that you made a payment. It is up to them to prove anything different. I hope you have old copies of your credit reports. Get a SNAIL copy of all three of your credit reports. You will need them.
