Hi, I had accumulated about $9000 worth of credit card debt and a bad score. I have paid off all but$1750 and am working on that now. My credit score has gone up a little, but has a long way to go. I have 1 credit card now which shows on time payment, I have had it for about a year. I recently applied for a car loan and was turned down- does anyone have an idea if my credit score will go up at least slightly when the rest is paid off? They are listed as charge-offs so I am going to try to negotiate to have the collection deleted if I can.....My score is 600 right now. Thank you for any help
