As ever the criminals laughingly known as 'collections professionals' speak the projective telegraphic language germane to their ilk. To find the truth simply turn around everything they say. They threaten you with jail? This means that what they are telling you could get them jailed. They tell you it's in your best interest to call back? This means it's in their best interest for you to do so and thus is the worst thing you could do.
Think of a rapist or for that matter a dumb, Big-City politically grasping Police Chief. Their advice to women is 'lie back and enjoy it'. Right, do the opposite and fight with the ferocity of a grizzly.
A thug tells you to comply and you won't be hurt. Statistics tell another story. Fight him, even if he has a gun the odds are in your favor according to national crime stats. Again, turn their statements around and you see with clarity.
Thugs, rapists, 'collections professionals'. Three treasured members of the criminal family, working hard every day. Sooner or later consequences will find even them.
