OK, I'm just trying to get more info on what could happen.

Moved from OH to Cali in 2000.

I've been tiptoeing around this due to Ohio's 15 year SOL. I had a mobile home that I purchased with a roommate. Got into a wreck, totaled my car, couldn't work and in the meantime my roommate moves out. So MH gets repo'd. Last payment was made about Nov of 1997. This was sold off to CA. Reported on CR as sold with $0 balance by OC. Also reported by CA (EQ) with an unable to locate consumer.

So my question is what could happen? I have been very hesitant to do any repair work because of this. But the problem is, it reads like an auto loan when my reports are pulled. I cannot get a car loan due to this.

Before I knew any better, I disputed this. The CA listing was actually removed from my EXP report, although the OC listing remains (scheduled to come off in 11/04). (Have not checked to see if it has been relisted).

I would assume I am in danger of getting sued by the CA, as the OC sold the acct? If so, where could and/or would they file?

Just wondering what would happen if I disupted it on my other reports, or if I should just leave well enough alone.

Thanks for any input.
