Its also important to see if the contract has the words binding arbitration on both sides. If that is the case, then neither party can take the other to court. Also, if it is binding, there is no appeal.

Look at your state consumer laws for collection and look for federal laws.

Sometimes arbitrations clauses are forced on consumers but the case does not fall under the subject matter in the contract.

This is delinquent debt.
