Several issues here:

1. Statue of frauds: any promise to pay the debt of another MUST be in writing.

2. Venue - she might have to sue you in Pa.
I need to check on this.

3. Service of lawsuit...you need to be notified so you can defend yourself.

Where in Florida is this? Is she in South Florida- there is an excellent consumer lawyer down here who can probably make this go away very fast.
