Start with secured credit cards. Go to your local bank and ask for a secured credit card. You might have to put down about $100 in a separate account that you cannot touch to get the bank visa card. That is the best way and it is also the more honest way.

Some of the other cards out there will charge you a fortune.

Some examples of credit history you can get is from Landlord and if you have an established relationship with him, you might be able to get a letter of reference.
