Depends on the judge. You can always go to court, lose and see what they have. Remember they have to produce a signed signature to prove their case. They need a contract or an application and proof of payment as well as accounting history. It has to be the original or a certified copy bearing the seal.

If you lose, you can always have a motion to dismiss based on the fact that they did not provide sufficient validation. If the judge won't do that, appeal his decision. Sloppy paperwork may work on a local judge but won't hold up in a federal district. While you are appealing, they can't touch you.
