I filed a complaint with the BBB stating that NCO has re-aged my account and received a reply from NCO via the BBB. Reply stated that according to NCO records, the account is closed. The problem is, I still have a civil court case pending against me that I will attend
in november. The BBB has given me the opportunity to respond if I am not satisfied with the results. Question: Can I use their letter in my case? I have old copies of my credit report that I will present to the judge to support my SOL defense but if this letter can help I would like to present it as well. I'm suspicious because it has the following line within their response. "This is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose. This is a communication from a debt collector"
