They can only choose two places to sue, the state and county where you lived at when you signed for the credit card and the state you currently live in. If they sue you in the state where you signed for it and then get a judgment, they then have to move to have the judgment domesticated in your state and county where you currently live. Depending on the state you live in and the laws governing your state, it might entail another suit. After they get the judgment and then have it domesticated, then and only then will they take action.

What they chose to do about it will depend on whether or not they think that you can pay them back. Sometimes having too much debt and no assets work in your favor.
