I've read of one or 2 that have been sued, but BuddHibbs will tell you that NCO doesn't sue. They do, but it doesn't seem to be their usual tactic. I've had 2 accounts in NCO's grubby mitts now for over a year.. and all they do is send me stupid letters rife with FDCPA violations and call me incessantly (until I got an unlisted number that is!). A lot depends on what you owe and whether or not your financial information looks like you have money or assets they can take from you. If you don't own property and have few assets, and don't make $100K a year.. you're less than a good candidate for a lawsuit.
