Ok, I am in Ohio so the 4 yr is totally gone by, but I want to satisfy the 6 yr as well just in case the court doesn't buy the 4 yr. I have EVERY monthly statement from this account showing my last payment 8/96. I then have 5 collection letters dating 7/95, 1/96, 3/96, 7/96, 8/96, 10/96. These are in house collection letters. Then my firt letter after that is dated 10/96 from ABC collection agency and then 7/98 from NCO financial. The letter dated 7/95 stated my account was now 3 payments past due but none of the other letters stated anything like that, they say, your account is still past due please call us to discuss payment arrangements. They state I made a payment in March 97 but I don't have any record of that payment. So, what date would start the clock ticking?
