Wow.. 23K on ONE card ?? I gotta tell ya, for that amount of money, even without an income, you are likely to be sued. They will not wait a year until you MAY be able to pay, the account will charge-off after 6 months of non-payment, then it will go to collection agencies. If they DO sue and win, even though you have nothing NOW, a judgment sticks around for a lot of years. They'll be after what you acquire later - salary, house, assets, etc.
