I have not been sued, but they called me at work numerous times and threatened to sue, called my co workers, and just harrassed me horribly. I wrote a letter to the Federal Trade Commission and was told that I could sue them for lying (they represented themselves as a federal collection agency!)and harrassment. In the end, I contacted the creditor who sold the debt and told them what was going on and we settled without NCO's involvement. I told them it was the only way they would get their money, or I was countersuing both the creditor and NCO. Good Luck!
