Anyone been abused by Absolute Collection Service?

I have a new client who's been repeatedly roughed up on the phone for a relative's medical bill that my client probably isn't even liable for. It looks like the miscreant is Absolute Collection Service, right downtown in my hometown of Raleigh NC. As far as I can tell, they only collect medical accounts. Their website, www.absolutecollection.com, spouts the usual CA bohunk about strict compliance with all laws and regulations. Don't believe anything you read and less than half of what you see. The client reports that a woman with a heavy foreign accent is the one who always calls her but doesn't tell her name. No, it's not a foreign call center, they do everything here, but we have plenty of non-native English speakers in the area. Anyhoo, does anybody have any experience with this ACS? (not to be confused with Associated Credit Services, the elite gang of scofflaws in Hopkinton MA, cause that bunch KNOWS not to mess with my clients anymore) Would love to hear from you, chrisatty@hotmail.com
