I did not know about the two year thing. It originated on November 11, 1998. A garnishment was placed on my former employer in January 1999. There was no activity from Jan 1999 until June of 2003 when they garnished our bank account.
But since it was dormant for two years, but we did not know that we could have had it released, can we still do that, even though garnishments have since been filed?
