I am on disability, I have many medical bills, and am paying what I can, when I can. Between medication, insurance, and living I have nothing left. I was brought to court, for a past bill of $480.00. I told the judge, I am paying my bills off slowly. I told him I am on disability. He granted the creditor, the decision, including court costs. I asked what would happen if I couln't make the payments, and he said there would be a judgement against me. I only own a l990 car, nothing else. (I can't afford anything else) I was under the impression, a judgement could not be put against someone on disability. He gave me 6 (six) months to pay this debt off. Impossible. Is there anything I can do. I am worrying myself sick about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
