Right,

Taziblue speaks much wisdom. Yes you can appear pro se and have every right to do so. Judges many times take a dim view of this. Concur with Taziblue, get a lawyer. Judges will for some reason - none good - abide the worst behavior of creditor scheisster lawyers while nitpicking you mercilessly. With a lawyer you won't be blindsided by some cheapshot trick typical of creditor scumbag lawyers. You'll see creditor lawyers fast talk the judge into making an irrational decision just to get them out of his courtroom. Then he has to save face by making it your fault. Nope, nope, get a lawyer. Plenty around as more of them catch on to the scam run by the CA's.
Another point, an otherwise decent judge may not fully grasp the complextiy of collection laws and debtor rights. Your lawyer's job is to keep the judge from getting fooled into ruling for the enemy. Yes, this can and does happen.

Graspingly,

Keyser Soze
