Hi Freedom Flyer: Sorry for the delay in getting back to you... well, went to court Monday. The case is going to trial in Feb. Asset still does not have the signed application, the magistrate told me the burden of proof is on them. Asset still wants to go to trial. Their attorney told me I should get a lawyer, because he looked at my credit report and have paid bills late in the past, so my history is not good. He referenced accounts that I had in college over 7 years ago, that are not even on their any more..Any advice? I can't believe they can sue me for money, that they don't have any signed copies of receipts for or the original application. Thanks for your time.
