This is a long story. In July 2001, I applied for a loan and when they pulled my credit report they found a credit card, and a balnce of 10,500 of which I had no knowledge. My identity had been compromised. After several attempts to get this off my credit report, I called Mississippi sheriff's office and I am currently working with a Dectective there. What they need is the original application so they can check the signature. I have contacted Sherman Acquistion, Sept. 19th 2003, and all I am getting is the run around. What is my next step...a law suit?
