I didn't mean to sound bitter, because I'm not. I was actually agreeing with you that it is all about the money. It is no mystery to anyone what CAs pay for debt. It doesn't matter how educated or informed a "consumer" is, or a debtor for that matter. People from all backgrounds and education levels pay their bills. People paid and didn't pay their bills long before this website and others like it came out. I can't speak for other companies, but sites like these haven't done anything to our business. Fenir, you said that you don't deal with CAs, because they are scumbags and lowlifes, but where does this leave you? Seriously think about it. You just admitted that you borrow money from lenders, and will never pay back the money you used. So you are benefitting from other people's money, but the people that try to get you to pay it back are the lowlifes? Maybe I am missing something here.
