I have to deal with SA on a similar issue. They are in gross violation of FCRA section 623(a)(5) and any 7 year provision of report. What they are doing is taking old outstanding accounts and reporting them as new delinquencies. That is a big class action lawsuit no no. I agree with the other guy Scott. Call them tape the conversation. Don't worry most states permit you to record your own conversation even without the other party's consent or knowledge. Write to the Federal Trade Commission and to the state consumer credit commission or state attorney general's ofc. In any event be prepared to suit the shit out of them. There isn't too much protection or should I say leeway for violating the FRCA anymore.

I am attaching a link to the FTC website for a specific letter to a consumer that explains the abovementioned laws on FCRA. I would sue and a lot more then for $98.00
